  • Medical Student of the Year Criteria

  • This award is for a medical student who has demonstrated through their academic and extra-curricular performance that they have attained a level of achievement over and above that expected for their years of training, with achievements and experience reflecting a specific interest in psychiatry as a career. Nominees may be resident in the UK or overseas.

    The entry should demonstrate an exceptional level of achievement in at least one of the following categories:


    a) A professional (5 marks)
    b) A clinician (5 marks)
    c) A leader (5 marks)
    d) An educator (5 marks)
    e) A researcher (5 marks)

    Entries should relate to work undertaken between January 2025 and December 2025 only. Activities undertaken outside these dates will not be considered.
