    Fellowship is only available to those who have been MRCPsych Members for 10 years or more.

  • Support for your application

  • As part of your application we need a citation from somone who knows your work well and who can tell us about your achievements and the ways in which you have contributed to psychiatry.

    A proposer will need to write the citation and a seconder will need to approve it.

    The proposer and seconder can't be people under your direct supervision.

    Proposers and seconders must be subscribing College members but they don't have to be Fellows themselves.

    Please provide the names and email addresses of your proposer and seconder.

    Your proposer will be sent a copy of this form on 16 September and will be asked to complete the citation form online. The seconder will receive a copy of both forms and will be asked to confirm their support. Both will be asked to complete their forms by 30 September.

  • All applications need the support of a College Faculty or Division Chair.

    Please indicate below which Chair you would like us to send your application to for their support. Chairs will be contacted after 15 September to support your application so the list below reflects the list of Chairs as of the AGM on 16 June 2026.

    If your proposer or seconder is a Chair, please just select them in the list.

    If you're being supported by a Devolved Nation Faculty Chair, please select the name of the Chair of the Devolved Nation.
